AVA converges three major
aspects of internet data delivery: Internet Protocol Television (IPTV),
Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), and Internet Access and browser
capabilities. This tri-fold bundle is called "Triple Play". Triple
Play will not only be the most economical way to package these services to
the end consumer, but it will also deliver the best possible quality.
How is the Service Delivered?
IPTV uses a two-way digital
broadcast signal. A TV, computer, or laptop can receive the image or data
through a Set-Top Box (STB). This Set-Top Box decodes the IP video or
voice, and converts it into standard television signals to display the
proper image. You can place your STB anywhere you wish. AVA's STB will
allow your consumers to view high quality international television, without
having to install a satellite dish (which can be quite the hassle). The
signal is delivered through the internet, which means that even if a channel
or station is not available through satellite or cable in a particular area,
it will still be accessible with AVA's technology!
Virtual Switch
A virtual switch allows for easy service
adaptation, switching, management, and application control panels that are
used to build a multi-service network. AVA provides the best support for
voice, data, images, and more, on a single switch. With a virtual switch
from AVA you will be able to:
Produce any type
of phone card you need
Provide promotional cards to your consumers
Set your own rates, fees, taxes, and breakage penalties
Sell Pin programs and First-Use programs to other distributors
Offer full switch reporting to support your switch services
Sell
wholesale origination and termination to carriers
Prepaid and Postpaid Calling Cards
A prepaid calling card can be compared to a debit
card (the use of a certain amount of minutes from a set fund that has been
purchased ahead of time). A postpaid calling card operates much like a
credit card does – use now, and pay later. To be most accommodating to your
consumers, it is a good idea to offer both types of cards. Your consumers
will be able to purchase a set number of long distance minutes that can be
used to call over 80 destinations around the globe. You can generate
revenue in a number of different ways:
-
Access or connection charges
- Minimum time per call
- Administrative daily charges that can be automatically
deducted from the card
- Breakage penalties
Voice
Over Broadband (VoBB)
Voice Over Broadband technology is an emerging
force in telecommunications. Its simple, yet effective function is changing
both home and workplace environments for its users. VoBB is the convergence
of telephone and internet, making it possible for the delivery of voice and
data messaging over IP. VoBB divides into two categories: Voice Over
Internet Protocol for the Consumer (C-VOIP), and Voice over Internet
Protocol for Businesses (B-VOIP).
C-VOIP Features Include:
- Receive voicemails via
email on your PC
-Text-to-Speech: Allow users to send "talking emails" and voicemails to
different accounts
- Forward voicemails via email to other accounts
- Point-and-Click access to set phone numbers
- Separate busy line and no-answer actions
- Enhanced Caller ID: interactive call logs to track incoming and outgoing
calls
- Connect a headset to your PC and make VoBB calls from anywhere with an
internet connection
- Virtual Phone
Numbers: Allows subscribers to offer frequent callers a local number to
reach them – saving expensive long distance charges
B-VOIP Features Include (in addition
to C-VOIP features listed above):
- Voice Virtual Private
Networks (VPN): Connect geographically dispersed businesses and remote
employees to the specific company's network via dedicated data pipelines
- Inter-office calls are supported over the company's data lines to bypass
long distance charges
- 4-digit dialing and hunt groups
-Auto-Attendant capabilities: Dial-by-name directories, call park/pick-up,
music on hold
- Personal Information Management (PIM): Integrate contact information,
email, and calendar functions through meeting reminders by phone and access
to company
phone books from any line
- IP-Based video conferencing
- Web Cast Technology: Make real-time presentations to
large audiences with interactive features, teaching methods and aids
- Advanced and Customized B-VOIP web portals: Allows your enterprise to
assign functionality such as international calling – based on an individual,
business group, or entire company
C-VOIP
gives the every-day consumer a convenient and attractive way to receive and
make calls (without using minutes on a cell phone, for example), send and
receive text messages, and affordably stay in touch with family and friends
far away.
B-VOIP
cuts costs for business owners, increases employee productivity, and
establishes a functional tracking system - not to mention gives a highly
improved level of customer service.
Callback
The call-back service is convenient and cost-effective. This platform
allows callers to place long-distance calls from different locations. This
gives callers an attractive alternative to avoid expensive outbound
long-distance calls.
The call-back
feature can be initiated by phone, or through an internet website. The
caller's assigned pin number is either dialed on his or her phone, or
punched into the particular website to login, and is then followed by their
destination number of choice. The call-back platform recognizes the
customer's assigned Automatic Number Identification (ANI), and then
immediately disconnects the caller. The platform then re-dials the
customer's destination number, and simultaneously calls the original caller
back – making their call an inbound call instead of an outbound call. This
service is extremely attractive to cellular phone users whose plans have
unlimited incoming calls, and to consumers who need to be making calls from
multiple locations.
IP
Centrux
IP Centrux is a cost-effective,
hosted voice service. Very quickly, it has become an excellent replacement
to traditional Private Branch Exchange (PBX). PBX allows enterprises to
communicate on multiple phones through a private network. The switching
between lines in a Private Branch Exchange, must happen at the company's
premises. IP Centrux takes this responsibility away from the company, and
handles switching from a local telephone office. The use of IP Centrux,
eliminates expensive set up costs, and provides a service with a highly
reliable carrier-class platform with opportunities for easy growth and
scalability.
Wholesale Switching and Partitioning Services
AVA Telecom Ltd.
uses advanced Next Generation Network (NGN) technology. We have one network
that transports all information and services to our clients and partners,
including voice, data, video, and all types of media. This enables AVA to
support a large amount of traffic, which, in turn, allows us to negotiate
very competitive rates. With cutting edge technology and affordable rates,
AVA is strategically positioned to act as the "broker" for call origination
and termination services.
Customized IVR Services
Successful
businesses are always looking for ways to improve efficiency and service,
and AVA has the solutions. Interactive Voice Response services involve the
automation of tedious, repetitive, and unwanted tasks. IVR allows a
computer to detect voice and touch tones through a regular telephone call.
The computer can then automatically give callers different menu options to
choose from, that will direct them to the appropriate place accordingly.
IVR should be combined with Customer Telephony Integration (CTI), which
integrates all customer contact channels (voice, email, fax, web, etc.) with
computer systems. CTI has the capability to do the following:
-
Identify the client before the agent receives the call (pop-up on the
agent's computer screen)
- Maintenance of the client's information throughout the call
- Client calls are routed to the appropriate agent the first time
- Client calls are routed to the agent they most recently spoke with (this
is time efficient and gives the client a sense of personalized service which
is hard to come by these days).
